Ford Diamond White paint was used to paint the Le Mans stripes, which have followed the original Shelby dimensions from 1965/1966 Mustangs. The car has been cloned to a Shelby GT350 with authentic Shelby parts (side stripes, rear quarter windows, gas cap, torque thrust wheels, etc).
The interior has been fully restored and reupholstered with deluxe Pony interior, with deluxe Pony seat foam. This was reinstalled along with new black carpet, black floor mats, black dash pad, and black door panels, along with walnut steering wheel, plus many more parts. Satin Black paint was used to respray the interior parts, including the dash, inner doors, rear quarter panels, plus retaining trim and speaker grill. A Sony CD player was installed in the dash, which is connected to speakers in the door panels, and two speakers on the rear trap door. All wiring runs along the original wiring channels in the car.
The engine is a 351w. The engine bay has been refreshed, and detailed with Satin Black Paint; new Edelbrock valve covers have been installed with new gaskets and valve cover bolt kit. The voltage regulator has been replaced and re-earthed. All earth connections have been cleaned to ensure good conductivity. A Pertronix Solid State Electronic Ignition has been upgraded in the distributor, to smoothen the idle, whilst also increasing economy and power. A matching Pertronix Flamethrower coil has also been used, which maintains a hot spark & optimum performance.
A new Edelbrock carburetor was installed on the Edelbrock intake manifold, ensuring optimum performance out of this 351w (5.5L) V8 beast.
Both inner track rods, both outer track rods, and both track rod sleeves were replaced, along with both lower control arms (which include lower control joints and bushings), and both upper ball joints. Each drum brake was checked, cleaned and rebuilt, with new hardware as necessary.
