1965 Ford Mustang Coupe

White cars are becoming the most popular car colour in the UK and Europe, and this Wimbledon White Mustang is no exception. It looks absolutely stunning with fresh paint, and all new exterior chrome which is in perfect condition. This '65 Coupe has been restored to factory specifications. Please note, this Mustang will be sold with a brand new set of Magnum 500 wheels and brand new tyres, and GT Fog Lights.
The interior is a rare Palomino colour, and in as-new condition throughout (carpets, dash, instrument, upholstery, doors, etc). It is as good as driving the car new back in 1965! This is classic Mustang is also a Californian car, built in San Jose and living there all its life, it shows absolutely no rust or corrosion anywhere.
The coupe is a rare factory 4 barrel, 225 BHP 289 car, indicated by the "A" designation in the VIN - known as an "A Code". It is an early '65 production and was built prior to Ford starting GT or K code production, so it is the highest output engine available at the time it was assembled. Other than the 4 barrel 289 and automatic transmission, it also boasts power steering.
The car is in mechanically excellent condition. It has had a very recent oil change and tune up, including spark plugs. While the plugs were out, a compression test was done. The readings were as follows:
#1: 146, #2: 148, #3: 154, #4: 147, #5: 147, #6: 152, #7: 155, #8: 149
All of the other mechanicals on the car are strong a well. The transmission shifts smoothly. The power steering works perfectly and does not leak. The car fires up first time and runs down the road straight and true. It does not overheat. There are many new parts including a complete gasket set, water pump, thermostat, battery, carb, air cleaner, a newer radiator, brand new tires, and the previously mentioned spark plugs. All of the windows roll up and down smoothly, and all gauges work as they should.
This Mustang is now here in the UK, and will be sold with full MOT, registration, serviced, and ready for the new owner to enjoy!
